The Lunar College

The Lunar College is a Goddess-centered arts and educational organization. It is the educational arm of Goddess HerStory, Inc. that espouses the objectives of the Universal Temple of Truth. The first of which concieves that creativity and artistry are integral parts of true spirituality. The second being that there is a Science as well as an Art to Living and they are one. This way of life is predicated upon observing what it is to shape our thoughts during our daily and nightly activities in such a way as to allow us to be in harmony with Natural Time.

 

These notions of Natural Time are akin to the underlying shaping factors for success that were defined in the Old Testament biblical text, the book of Ecclesiastes. As such they illustrate the proverbial “time and place for everything under the sun.” It is just these actions of the right time and place in particularly that or course here deals with most intimately. The only difference will be that our major focus here will be on what takes time and place from the perspective of being under the Moon rather than the Sun.

 

This course like its accompanying book deals with the nature of evolution and change as it takes place in a very natural and non-assuming way although it would be wrong to say it is random.This program demonstrates how an appropriate respect for the Feminine Divinity Principle and the acknowledgement of the necessity for one to live in accordance with Natural Time can lead to a happier a balanced and healthier way of life. One need not become a Goddess worshiper in order to benefit from this natural way of life. ​

                                                                                                            Its programs are dedicated to assisting any interested person in securing these objectives for themselves by faithfully teaching the principles of Feminine Divinity for adults both women and as well as men-of-good-will-towards women. Its curriculum is based on the philosophic papers of ASoP: A String of Pearls, vol I which once published will outline the overall doctrine of (LLL) Living the Lunar Lunar Life. 

 

There are other papers and personal practices that will not be included in vol. I. Some of those writings will make up the other volumes of ASoP. These are the Class B and Class A Documents. Because they deal with levels of study and practice that are intermediate and more advanced respectively. Intermediate study will be made available up to a certain point here on line and advanced studies will be made available to those who apply and are accepted to formally study with us. Such an individual may enroll in the outlined Core Curriculum courses called the Core Practice, first as a Student, then as an Aspirant and finally if they choose to be as a Devotee. Teacher/Priesthood training is reserved only for Initiates

 

A String of Pearl, Vol I  is a book consisting of seven chapters arranged in a particular format. It is its formal textbook.This format has been replicated in the online study course at an introductory level.  Its contents have been listed and explained here in the best way that they could be received practically. It is not enough, however to just read the information. Its philosophy, put into practice has as result of causing effectual change and it is extended right down to even to the choosing of the name of this system.

 

The name of this philosophy, is called ASoP, which is the acronym for the phrase A String of Pearls. This is a spiritual philosophy that once aware of it, one should strive each and every day, little by little to live by it. There is no ruch nor time limit for completion. It has been found that its simple methods may like in agriculture, be literally sown or planted, nurtured or grown into the human experience. This is called Metaphysical Farming.

 

The compilation of this study and practice which is both Art and Science consists of a combination of ingredients that have been rendered in their right measure and produced under such conditions as to suit the Lunar College's purpose and objectives here. Simply put this objective is to share some of the most essential ideas of this system.

 

As those who decide to seriously take up this study will readily see immediately through study and use of this system, effectiveness resides very heavily in the observance of what we will call the Four Universal Laws. These four laws are like the four seasons of the year that were once observed by the matriachal agraian cultures when we still grew our physical food.

 

The most important of these laws is the Law of Periodicity, for it is periodicity, the structure of time, i.e., the seasons of the year and the periods of the moon, more specifically, are that which govern what our most appropriate actions should be at any given time. These are the underlying shaping factors for success that were defined in the Old Testament biblical text, Ecclesiastes, as the proverbial “time and place for everything under the sun.” It is just these actions of the right time and place in particularly that it deals most intimately.

 

The only difference between this excerpt from the book of Ecclesiastes and what is taught here is that our major selective focus will be on what takes time and place from the perspective of being under the influence of the Moon rather than the Sun. This book deals with the nature of evolution and the revolution of the nightly, monthly and yearly cycles of change as they take place in a very natural and non-assuming way.

 

The system is not really contrived or hard and fast but it is a system nonetheless. Like principles of the Tao wherein yin flows into yang and yang back into yin with mid-points in between, so too is the cyclic nature of this system which is very much related to the Yi Ching Chinise oracle. Nor, are its free-flowing principles so loose at first as they might seem. Although it would be wrong to say it is random, for it in fact it is very ordered, but not in a linear way. It is informed first from the observance of Natural Time which requires a moon's eye review of the natural revolution of the Law of Cycles.

 

As mentioned earlier, part of the major subject of the discussion in this work revolves around the concept of Feminine Divinity. During my research over the past 13 years it has taken time and experimentation to produce the text that you now read here.  I offer a compilation here of facts and viewpoints gathered together and organized in a special way not to make any or several arguments but to rather to state that truth that is based on one salient point, which namely is Unity. All is one. That point of Unity or oneness is the realization of Feminine Divinity itself and it is revolved around by seven important factors which I will describe in the course of relating these things to the student in the following seven series of lecture and abstracts of chapters of the book.

 

These involve a set of courses of study and a set of ritual habits or practices that lead to a sure way of internalizing the principles of which we speak. These are the Seven Core Principles. They are intimately involved in the enabling learning objective of to how discover practically to be in harmony with Natural Time. It is the Doctrine of LLL or Living the Lunar Life that effects this state of harmony that can and may only be affected if the Student, the Aspirant or Initiate will but use them in the form of the Seven Core Practices. These are Seven ritual habits that I call the Core Practice. I will simply list them here before we begin to lay the foundation of what they indeed are. A full discussion of them is concentrated throughout the text and deals with them as much collectively and as a whole as it does more intimately  and individually.
